Les associations menacées par la réforme territoriale, signez la pétition!
La politique menée depuis plusieurs années par la droite au pouvoir, et particulièrement depuis 2007 par Nicolas Sarkozy, menace la vitalité associative de notre pays, ce que la gauche n’a cessé de dénoncer en exprimant, à de nombreuses reprises, ses préoccupations quant aux coups portés au mouvement sportif, à l’éducation populaire et à l’économie sociale.
La vie associative est cruciale pour notre société. Vingt millions de Français dont 14 millions de bénévoles sont membres d’une association et engagés dans la construction de projets collectifs portés par ces associations.
Le désengagement cynique de l’État, la casse des services publics locaux, la baisse des moyens financiers alloués aux associations menacent l’avenir du mouvement associatif.
Les collectivités territoriales dirigées par la gauche ont pallié dans l’urgence ces mesures dévastatrices, par des politiques locales, volontaristes, responsables et soucieuses des besoins quotidiens des Français. Mais la capacité des collectivités territoriales à financer et accompagner les projets portés par le mouvement associatif est aujourd’hui mise en danger par l’étranglement financier des collectivités locales et par le projet de réforme des collectivités territoriales. Le soutien local au sport, à l’éducation populaire et à l’économie sociale et solidaire en sera gravement affecté.
Cette destruction programmée du paysage associatif justifie que tous les citoyens se mobilisent et s’y opposent.
Ensemble :
- Nous exigeons le retrait des projets territoriaux du gouvernement qui menacent la vitalité du mouvement, des valeurs et des projets associatifs ;
- Nous voulons des pouvoirs publics engagés auprès des associations, pour soutenir leurs actions, essentielles pour les Françaises et les Français.
Il faut non seulement maintenir mais aussi développer sur tout le territoire, au plus près des citoyens, le sport, l’éducation populaire, l’ensemble des services d’intérêt général portés par les associations, piliers essentiels de la cohésion sociale et de la vitalité démocratique.
