« proposition Hortefeux : le PS dénonce « l’exploitation » d’un fait divers »
PARIS, 1 février 2010 (AFP) - Le porte-parole du PS, Benoît Hamon, a dénoncé lundi une exploitation par le ministre de l’Intérieur Brice Hortefeux d’un fait divers, le double-meurtre de retraités dans l’Oise, pour justifier une loi supplémentaire, alors que sa politique contre l’insécurité “a échoué”.
M. Hamon a dénoncé “une exploitation, dans la bonne vieille tradition de la droite sarkozyste, d’un fait divers” et “d’une émotion qui est grande” pour “justifier une loi supplémentaire”.
“On n’exploite pas des faits divers pour faire des coups de menton, des gesticulations” surtout en” période électorale”, c’est “nauséabond et grossier” affirme le porte-parole lors du point de presse hebdomadaire du PS.
Pour M. Hamon, “la politique” du gouvernement qui “consiste à alourdir les peines comme moyen pour dissuader la délinquance a échoué” et si “elle devait aller au bout, la logique voudrait qu’on rétablisse un jour la peine de mort, puisque la principale dissuasion aux yeux de ceux qui veulent utiliser cette politique, ce serait la peine de mort”.
Il souligne que M. Hortefeux “est recadré par Michèle Alliot-Marie qui est elle-même recadrée par le sémillant porte-parole de l’UMP” Frédéric Lefebvre “qui n’est même pas député et décide de donner les bons et les mauvais points aux ministres”.
“Quelle démocratie, si c’est le porte-parole du parti au pouvoir qui doit décider de ce que les ministres doivent dire ou pas”, demande M. Hamon.
Le porte-parole de l’UMP Frédéric Lefebvre a estimé lundi que Michèle Alliot-Marie n’avait “pas suivi dans le détail” les mesures proposées par Brice Hortefeux soulignant qu’elles ont été “acceptées” par Matignon. Il a également souligné qu’un amendement en ce sens du gouvernement avait été adopté en commission des Lois mercredi dernier.
